How A Goblin Almost Got Me:It Got My PC & Said, “The Gobble-Uns'll Git You If You Don't Watch Out!

I have been struggling with my little netbook computer for a few days now. It has a mind of it’s own. It erases whole articles or makes them disappear. It also changes my format, which requires a lot of editing (not a good thing, as I am computer challenged). Just yesterday, it made me place a mere 3 stars on Bruce’s article. What’s up with that? Good thing Bruce has a sense of humor.
So, then, being a writer, I had to research this. Here is the last part of the poem:
And little Orphan Annie says, when the blaze is blue,
And the lampwick sputters, and the wind goes woo-oo!
And you hear the crickets quit and the moon is gray,
And the lightning bugs in dew is all squenched away--
You better mind your parents, and your teachers fond and dear,
And cherish them that loves you, and dry the orphan's tear,
And help the poor and needy one that cluster all about,
Or the Gobble-uns'll git you if you don't watch out

You really should read the poem. I like it because it is about “Little Orphan Annie. Boy, does that conjure up memories. I always felt so sorry for her.
I looked up what a Gremlin and Goblin are because I wasn’t sure if it is a Gremlin or a Goblin that is after me. Here’s what I found:
A gremlin is a small elf-like creature imagined by WWII Pilots. They caused technical difficulties in aircraft. This is why when something technical goes wrong, people blame it on gremlins. No. They don't exist.
Goblin: The term goblin is a collective noun for evil spirits like redcaps and bugbears. They are usually grotesque and misshapen but are of human form. They live in dark places and are of a very mischievous nature. It is said that their smile curdles the blood and that their laugh causes milk to sour and causes fruit to fall off trees. I decided it had to be a Goblin. Only an evil spirit would cause me to give Bruce only 3 stars.
