Las Vegas, Nevada, May 4, 2011: Marie Osmond, a well-known singer and entertainer remarried her first husband, Stephen Craig, a former basketball player. The couple married in 1982 and had a son together, Stephen 28. They divorced in 1985 on grounds of “mental cruelty,” according to TMZ.
The petite and pretty Marie wore the same wedding dress that she wore the first time she married Stephen Craig. The couple married on the birthday of Marie’s adopted son and also her mother. Marie’s son, Michael committed suicide by jumping from the eighth floor of his apartment building in Los Angeles, California On February 26, 2010.
Marie has been married twice more since she divorced her first husband, Stephen Craig. Osmond married Brian Blosil. While married to Blosil, Osmond had two more children, Rachael Lauren (b. August 1989) and Matthew Richard (b. July 1999). They also adopted five children: Jessica Marie (b. November 1987), Michael Bryan (1991–2010), Brandon Warren (b. November 1996), Brianna Patricia (b. November 1997), and Abigail Michelle (b. September 2002). On March 30, 2007, Osmond and Blosil announced they were divorcing (Wikipedia.com).
Marie has had her share of heartaches. She suffered postpartum depression and wrote a book, Behind the Smile with Marcia Wilkie and Dr. Judith Moore. The book describes her experiences with postpartum depression.
Even though Marie divorced Stephen, her first husband and cited “mental cruelty,” I hope Marie has found true happiness and peace, now.

Top-level comments on this article: (1 total)I remember listening to almost all of Donny Osmonds' songs in the 70s and never quite understand the married life of Marie which looked messy. I watched Oprah's interview with her about her son, Michael who claimed that he had no friends before jumping to his death. It's truly a waste and regret.
