When I went into my Facebook Account today I found this message: Re-post this if you have a Mom in Heaven........If flowers grow in heaven Lord, then pick a bunch for me, place them in my Mom and tell her they're from me. Tell her that I love and miss her, and when she turns to smile, place a kiss on her cheek and hold her for a while. ♥ I LOVE YOU & I THINK OF YOU EVERY DAY!!! ♥ I know you watch over me :). Love you

Oh¸ how I wish it could be true ((that I could send my mother flowers).  I lost my mother about 35 years ago and yet the pain and sorrow are still there.  I wish many times over that I could just see her and tell her how much I love her.  I have regrets that I did not tell her often enough and I could never, ever repay her for making my life wonderful,

She was a beautiful seamstress and made all my clothes, even while holding down 2 jobs. She was a quite, sweet woman who was ill so much of her life. My 21st birthday was particularly sad for me (because Jim, my husband and I had broken our engagement).  My mother didn't say too much about it, but one day I came home to find a beautiful red Bible with my name on the front in gold letters.  The Bible was laying on my bed.  I still have it today.

If my mother can see and hear me now, I would like to say, "I love you and this article is dedicated to you."

Quotes That May Comfort You If Your Mother Has Passed Away

If you were once connected with someone, does it make sense that the connection is broken just because of a physical death? No, the connection stays. You may just have to listen differently. You may just have to talk differently. The truth is: the connection is never broken. It's quite impossible to break the most powerful connection in the universe. As long as you exist, the connection stays."
~Chris Collins

A mother holds her children's hands for a while, their hearts forever."

Those we love don't go away, they walk beside us every day.
Unseen, unheard, but always near; still loved, still missed and very dear.

If tears could build a stairway, and memories a lane,
I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

I thought that I would miss you so, and never find my way.
And then I heard the angel say "She's with you every day."
"The sun, the moon, the wind, the stars, will forever be around,
reminding you of the love you shared, and the peace she's finally found."
-Author Unknown

"Once upon a memory someone wiped away a tear, held me close and loved me, Thank you, Mother dear."
-Author Unknown

I shall never forget my mother, for it was she who planted and nurtured the first seeds of good within me. She opened my heart to the lasting impressions of nature; she awakened my understanding and extended my horizon and her percepts exerted an everlasting influence upon the course of my life.
-Immanuel Kant

My mother was the making of me. She was so true and so sure of me, I felt that I had someone to live for - someone I must not disappoint. The memory of my mother will always be a blessing to me.
-Thomas A Edison

My Mother's love is the Almond Blossom of my mind and the fragrance is worth dying for. Her gentle compassionate touch shaped my very essence and -- forever -- I shall remember and although we are separated by the corridor of life and the doorway of heaven, I will always attempt to become the man that she perceived me to be. I love you mom, where ever you are and I hope you can feel my written word and I envision you enveloped in a shortcut of kindness and love and-- forever -- happy and content. God bless all of the Mother's of his world and other Space Time Continuum.
-Frank L. de Roos III

"My mom is a never-ending song in my heart of comfort, happiness, and being. I may sometimes forget the words but I always remember the tune."
-Graycie Harmon

Happy Mother's Day Mother, wherever you are.

I'm sorry you still feel the pain, Fran. I agree with you, though, when a person dies the connection isn't broken. I hope you have a happy mother's day!
