Sister Wives Begins Season 2: One Husband, 4 Wives & 16 Kids-No Foursomes But Wives Jealous

"Sister Wives" season 2 will premieres Sunday, March 13, 2011 on TLC at 8:00 p.m., ET/8:00 p.m.. In preparation for this event, the cast has been making the rounds on interviews. They have been on Oprah, The Joy Bahar Show and today on Ellen.
Last season I was quite fascinated by this unique family. Kody Brown has four wives and 16 children. The wives are Mari, Christine, Janelle and Robyn.. Mari, his first wife is the only one Kody is legally married to. The other marriages have been through a religious ceremony.
When the family appeared on the Joy Bahar Show, Kody explained that he would really like to be legally married to all of the wives. For “credibility” reasons.He wants the women to have a "claim" on him so that they're "taken care of."
Today on the Ellen Show, Kody explained that it took him about 4 hours to get ready for the show because his socks were at one of the wives houses and his favorite shirt at the other wives house, etc.
As far as intimacy and sex, Kody explained that they have a schedule that they stick to. The wives said they never discuss their sexual encounters (with Kody) among each other.
Jealousy does seem to be a problem with the 4 wives. When asked if there are petty moments, Christine said it's mostly over how much time Kody is spending with one of them over another, just little things like that. Janelle said she feels satisfied and that her needs are met. She said she finds comfort as well her other "Sister Wives.”
Since it is unlawful to have more man one wife, the police began investigating this family after the show began. The investigation is still going on. If Kody is charged, he could face up to 15-20 years and each wife could face 5 years.
Here are a few tidbits that were revealed on the Oprah show about this family:
· Sister Wives star and first wife Meri was fired from her job because of all the attention the show brought.
· The Sister Wives “don’t do weird” sex; They don’t engage in threesomes or foursomes or now, with new wife Robyn, fivesomes.
· Kody is not usually permitted (by the other wives) to sleep with someone before he marries her. Christine was upset that Kody kissed Robyn (the 4th wife) and told him that he could kiss her, as long as he did not do it in front of the other wives.
· Christine was upset that Kody kissed Robyn prior to marriage, actually told him that he was allowed to kiss her, just as long as he did not do it in front of the other wives.

I haven't seen the program but I read a book which was similar. I don't get it. I suspect plural "marriages" are something else which breaks God's heart too.
By looking at their family photos already made me kind of confused. I think the main guy Kody should face trial. This is a very messy family.
A normal family has enough for headaches....
Although I do not believe in this lifestyle, I do believe that since they are all in this openly and honestly it is nobody's business. I feel the bigamy law should only apply to those men/women who are hiding the fact they are married to other people and are lying to their multiple spouses about who they really are!
