It was announced by CBS that the popular program, “Two And A Half Men” would be cancelled for the remaining of the season.

Charlie Sheen seems to have gone too far this time. Yesterday (February 24, 2011) he called in to a radio show and attached the show’s producer, Chuck Lorre, called the producer and co-creator of Two and a Half Men, Chuck Lorre, a "charlatan [who] chose not to do his job", a "piece of shit" and a "stupid, stupid little man". Charlie Sheen also made fun of Mr. Lorre’s Jewish background and called him Chaim Levine". Lorre was named Charles Michael Levine at birth.

Mr. Sheen has also criticized AAA. Calling the organization a cult. “The only thing I’m addicted to right now is winning. My success rate is 100%. I was shackled and oppressed by the cult of AA for 22 years. I finally extracted myself from their troll hole and started living my life the way I want to live it. It’s vintage, outdated and stupid and it’s followed by STUPID people. I hate them violently. They will come at me. Debate me on AA right now. I have a disease? Bullshit. I cured it right now with my mind.”

He also accused Former President George Bush of setting up the 9/11 attach in New York City.

Due to his addictions, his behavior has been erratic the past few years.

In 1990, he was engaged to actress, Kelly Preston and accidentally shot her. After the incident, Ms Preston broke the engagement.

Early Life Of Charlie Sheen

Sheen was born Carlos Irwin Estevez in New York City in 1965, the youngest son and third of four children born to actor Martin Sheen and artist Janet Templeton. Charlie took the same stage name as his father, who had adopted it in honor of the Catholic archbishop and theologian Fulton J. Sheen . [3] His parents moved to Malibu, California , after Martin Sheen's Broadway turn in The Subject Was Roses . Sheen has two brothers and one sister, all of whom are actors: Emilio Estevez , Ramon Estevez , and Renée Estevez . Sheen attended Santa Monica High School in Santa Monica, California , where he was a star pitcher and shortstop for the baseball team. [3] [4] He also showed an early interest in acting, making several Super-8 films with his brother Emilio, schoolmates Rob and Chad Lowe , and early friend Chris Penn . Just a few weeks before graduation, Sheen was expelled from the school for poor grades and bad attendance. (wikepedia.com)

Martin Sheen Supports His Son

Charlie Sheen’s father, Martin Sheen was recently interviewed. He compared his son’s fight against addiction as a fight against cancer.

"The disease of addiction is a form of cancer," Martin Sheen told Sky News in London. "You have to have an equal measure of concern and love and lift them up, so that's what we do for him."

8/3/90: His family made an intervention to try to get him to control his drug and alcohol abuse and enter rehab. He entered rehab for 30 days and ended up staying sober for exactly 366 days. His main goal was to make one year, and after making it, he drank the very next day at Nicolas Cage 's home. (Source - TV Guide interview).

Ralph Nader had this to say about addiction: “Addiction should never be treated as a crime. It has to be treated as a health problem. We do not send alcoholics to jail in this country. Over 500,000 people are in our jails who are nonviolent drug users.”

I hope Charlie Sheen has not ruined his career. I wish for Charlie Sheen a recovery from this addiction and hope Two And One Half Men will be back on television next season.

All these problems originate from the mind. Money, fame etc. totally ruins happiness and it is so evident from their lives.

Charlie Sheen; the good, the bad, and the ugly, is what has kept that show alive all these years...without him, in any form, it would crash.... Good article Fran....demonstrates how controversy keeps the public interest up.....just like with Lindsey Lohan....without the controversy; nobody would even know who she is...... show business LOL-

He's been heading for a fall for a while, it seems, Fran. He's so out of control now. I wonder what demons are driving him.
