Facebook announced that it would be launching Oregon Trail and Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego casual games. The games are being developed by Blue Fang Games. The Learning Company has posted trailers for both of these games.
These games are sure to produce nostalgia among individuals of a certain age. The Oregon Trailis would be ike being able to forma a “wagon party” with your friends and the player also will be able to participate in “trail” activities, such as crossing a river or hunting for buffalo.
My research shows that there’s already an Oregon Trail Game for i-phone: http://mashable.com/2009/02/10/oregon-trail-iphone/, while an upcoming release from Rock Software is a play on the once popular Nintendo gamehttp://mashable.com/2010/10/14/mike-tyson-iphone-game/Mike Tyson’s Punch-out.
Disney Dream Ship In Florida Waiting For You To Cruise
Now, if that isn’t exciting enough for those of us who like to have fun and enjoy life , The Disney Dream has docked at Port Canaveral, Florida! Yea, I live in Florida. Donald Duck is getting closer and closer.
The new Disney Dream starts sailing on today (January 26, 2011). Disney said that due to the popularity of The Disney Dream, the Maiden Voyage is nearly full. (I would like to say, at this point, that my friend Terry has already booked a trip on this ship for later in the year, and I am very jealous). Disney reports that there is still limited availability on the second Disney Dream voyage, January 30.
The Disney Dream™ is the majestic third ship in the Disney Cruise Line fleet. Boasting 14 towering decks, a ship length of 1,115 feet and a maximum width of 125 feet, the 130,000-ton vessel includes 1,250 staterooms and has the capacity to comfortably accommodate 4,000 passengers—along with the over 1,458 Crew Members who tend to the needs of every cruise Guest each and every day.
Building on the classic style of the previous 2 ships, the Disney Magic and the Disney Wonder, the Disney Dream is a valiant vessel distinguished for its classic early 20th-century design—which harkens back to the golden age of cruising—and state-of-the-art technology. As can be expected from Disney, the cruise liner was specially designed with families in mind, combining sleek style and convenient facilities with splashes of magic and cruise-industry firsts—like the splashtacular AquaDuck, the very first water coaster at sea (disneycruise.Disney.go.com))

Top-level comments on this article: (3 total)Extraordinary! 1,250 state rooms! I still find it hard to get my head around the fact that ships can float at all, let alone such big ones filled with people. Love the idea of theme cruises.
Not anymore games Fran. Facebook games already distracting me a lot from my work. :P I play Farmville, Baking life and Train all the time.
I'm happy for your friend Terry too! I've heard the food is incredible on cruises not to mention the entertainment and sunfilled days around the pool! Having said that, I'm with Jennifer in that I can't get my head around the fact that ships that size can float. For that reason, and because the idea of being surrounded by deep water terrifies me, I'd choose to be with Gregory, on shore, watching the ships come in! :)
