There is still so much confusion right now about Zodiac signs changing, I thought it best to follow up on my article: /swa680977-New-Zodiac-Sign-Dates-Ophiuchus-The-13th-Sign-Help-I-Am-Now-Gemini-Not-Cancer.htm. (It was meant to be a tongue-in-cheek take off on all the zodiac panic) However, my stats indicate that people are still interested in this subject and some are confused.

It is true that there is an Earth Wobble, which means the earth’s alignment no longer matches up with the alignment if had several thousand years ago.

Astronomy professor, Parke Kunkle, caused a wave of panic when he told the Associate Press about the "wobble", which is when the earth on its axis by one-degree, every 70 years or so.

Kunkle also stated "The ancient Babylonians based zodiac signs on the constellation the sun was 'in' on the day a person was born. During the ensuing millenniums, the moon's gravitational pull has made the Earth 'wobble' around its axis, creating about a one-month bump in the stars' alignment."

But Kunkle tells AP it's no secret the earth shifts like this and he's puzzled why his findings have received such a huge response because Astronomers have known about this since about 130 BC.

Thus, the word got out that everyone’ s astrological sign could be different than it was.

All of the above is true, however, that's irrelevant for the tropical zodiac, codified for Western astrology by Ptolemy in the second century.

So, America, we don’t have to change our tattoos or go through some kind of identity crisis. We are safe. A Zodiac change will not be taking in our lifetime.

Enjoy your tattoos and love being who you truly are.

I even read somewhere that after many years to come there will be a time even when the position of the moon won't change for a longer time. Don't know how true that would be.

Although I believe the stars are perhaps what we as humans are composed of, I don't have much faith in astrological beliefs.
