Tonight is the finals for America's Got Talent." White we are patiently waiting until the end of the program to see who is the winner, something wonderful happens. 10-year old Jackie Evancho sang "Time to Say Goodbye. Then, another wonderful thing happened. Sarah Brightman came on the stage and sang the song with Jackie. At the end of the song they were both holding hands; their beautiful voices hitting every note together and it was just magic. My eyes began to fill with tears. I imagine most who appreciate good music also had teary eyes.
Then I realized something. This was the real meaning and climax of the program for me. Yes, it would be nice if my little angel, Jackie would win but really, when you think about it, does it matter? Jackie sang with Sarah Brightman and fulfilled her dreams, so whatever happens now will be anti-climatic and just OK.
Jackie is a true prodigy, she started with a 2.5 octave range and now with training it has brought her closer to 3 octaves, her range currently is F3 to E6 this is extraordinary for someone at age ten. I have listened time and again to her music, with complete amazement. She was truly born for classical music (stars2come.com)
Jackie Evancho has achieved the unthinkable tonight the impossible. A seed, a thought became reality tonight when she sang with Sarah Brightman. Tom Robbins, an American writer said, "to achieve the impossible, it is precisely the unthinkable that must be thought."

Top-level comments on this article: (2 total)Jackie Evancho is a star, isn't she. Phenomenal, a true prodigy. For some reason I couldn't upload the video, but I'm going to see if I can find it somewhere else.
I thought that was the best part of the whole show was to watch little Jackie looking up to Susan while singing with the biggest glow coming from her face and those bright twinkling eyes. I had to get my hankie.
