Prince Poppycock (John Quale) could be the winner on American's Got Talent. The final show will be on September 14th and the announcement for the winner on September 15th. Michael is really a shy person but when he is in costume and make-up, he becomes an extrovert.
He really did not plan on entering American's Got Talent, but his significant other put one of his performances on U-Tube without asking him if it was OK. When some of the producers saw him on U-Tube, they asked if he would come on the show. The rest is history.
Other Contestants He Will Be Competing Against
I think the toughest competition is Fighting Gravity, a variety act. However, last week they were told it was not their best performance. They were warned that their choreography had to be absolutely perfect for the finals.
Michael Grimm, also a runner-up is said to have a voice of experience and pain, even though he is very young. Apparently, the judges recognized he sings from his heart. Perhaps he will be a favorite with teen girls.
Can He Beat Last Week's Performance?
Last week, Prince Poppycock presented a very patriotic show. Some say it was more like a Broadway show. At the beginning of the show, (before he put make-up on), John stated that he loved his country and therefore the act he was about to perform was a love letter back to his country. Due to September 11th being such a sad day for Americans, his choice couldn't have been better. He dressed in red, white and blue to sing the Star Spangled Banner and Yankee Doodle Dandy.
Only time will tell if he can be even better than his last week's performance and win over the other three contestants.
Although he is not my first choice and I don't get the "dressing up" thing, I wish him luck. He does have a great voice and has wowed the audience in the past.

Jackie is GREAT but the Prince is the PRINCE and if anyone knew I said that... I would respond, "No, I dident!"
It sounds like he had a clever marketing idea, since the winner is chosen by the voters! Well, it's the 15 today, so I wonder who did win...
