I watched with curiosity and interest as Tiger Woods addressed a fleet of reporters. Questions, asked politely but they were very personal and frank questions, nevertheless. Tiger didn't flinch when the hard ones came but made direct contact with the reporters and cameras as he patiently answered.

As most of us know, Tiger Woods is the greatest golfer in the world but as of last November is plagued by his past conduct of having sexual relations with several mistresses who have come forward.

When asked why he didn't play golf in December of last year, Tiger responded by saying he wasn't ready. He also stated that he had reached the very bottom (emotionally). At that point, we began his stay at Rehab.

Tiger even explained rehabilitation. He said rehab caused one to look on the inside of one's self and see who you really are. Perhaps he had never done that. In fairness, how many of us sometimes don't see the reality of what we are doing that is hurting others, as well as ourselves?

Tiger Woods admitted over and over that he had hurt people and he was sorry. He stated that he hoped to be a better example and gave the indication that the recovery he was in is still in process and didn't promise anything. I felt he was completely honest.

When reporters began asking him about his golf game, he immediately gave a big smile and looked like a boy who suddenly realized he could go out and play again. He stated that his golf friends had been very supportive and he had receiver many hugs.

I am kind of known for being a "Polyanna", but I think a different Tiger has emerged. A Tiger Woods that has an inward compass that tells him when something isn't right. He expressed that he medicates every day now for balance in his life.

Aristotle sums it all up in this powerful quote on temptations " I count him braver who overcomes his desires than him who conquers his enemies; for the hardest victory is the victory over self."

The biggest and most meaningful part of Tiger's interview was when he said playing Golf in the past was not too much fun (due to his lifestyle, lies, etc.) but now will be fun. He said practice felt like "old times."

Tiger once said, " As a kid, I might have been psycho, I guess, but I used to throw golf balls in the trees and try and somehow make par from them. I thought that was fun.'

I hope Tiger can be like a kid again and have fun. I am excited for him. I think the new Tiger Woods is going to now, finally have fun playing golf.

I'll be watching. Have fun, Tiger.

I too hope he makes it and can keep from acting on his obsessions especially for the sake of his family.

I will be hopeful ....but I may be wrong to believe in him, again.

I saw the Masters Press Conference (the Monday of the tournament week), and I thought he was very sincere and real. Not the robotic answers we're all used to. I think we'll see that he'll come back better than ever.
