I was taking my daily walk and "gab session" with my girlfriends, when Betty said, "I've got something great to share with all of you today." Our ears perked. I thought maybe she would tell us about a new place to eat lunch or perhaps a new hairdresser, but her answer both surprised me and disappointed me.

"I have made a discovery," she went on to say. I am telling you girls this is way past exciting. It is just magical. I ordered these microfiber cloths on line and boy, do they do a good job with cleaning and dusting.-"

I tried to act excited but cleaning and dusting really doesn't excite me these days. In fact, I so rarely dust that my two dogs, Sunny and Cody start looking out the door because they know someone must be coming (because I am dusting).

Throughout the whole walk, Betty kept praising these little white rags that supposedly would do magical things. On top of that, Betty said once you start cleaning and seeing the results that you don't want to stop.

"I'm am so thrilled with these microfiber cloths that I am going to order a great big supply probably a hundred or so. If you guys want to buy a few from me, that is fine."

Betty wasn't offering us this deal for any money purposes. She wouldn't be making any profit. She just wanted to share this "wonder rag." We figured out how much each of us would pay for this order. I put my order in (without enthusiasm).

A few days later, Betty called me. The order was here. I went over to her house I got my share, which was about 10 rags. Then I just let the rags stay in their plastic bags because I was not in the mood to clean.

Then one day, I decided. What the heck? I have to dust anyway, so I may as well use one of the "wonder cloths" that I had purchased.

I began dusting my end tables and bedroom dresser. All those little dusty crevices were suddenly shiny and clean. (I didn't realize my furniture could have such a beautiful shine and the tones of the wood were beautiful). I was so excited. I dusted my talking scales in the bathroom. A few whisks with my magic cloth and the scales looked like new. Prior to this, I could never get in those little grooves and they always had a gray, dirty look.

Oh my goodness! Betty was right! I couldn't stop cleaning and dusting. Sunny and Cody kept looking out the window and door, wondering if, indeed someone was coming because mommy was on a role.

I cleaned baseboards, sinks, walls, cabinets, kitchen appliances and anything that caught my eye. Sunny and Cody were scared that they would have to be cleaned and I was scared that I had morphed into something like a mad housewife.

My husband Jim cleaned his golf shoes with the "magic rag." Everyone that comes to my house now receives an unopened "magic rag" because I am so excited about it.

I am not selling anything (although maybe I should sign up for an affiliate program for these cloths). I am just sharing a modern, wonderful thorough way to clean.

The secret behind the microfiber cloths is the cloths consist of tiny fibers, 200 times thinner than human hair. These tiny fibers trap and absorb dirt and oil, than a regular rag cannot.

Here is how you use the microfiber cloths.

Materials Needed:

A Microfiber Cloth. I purchased mine on the internet.

1. Wet the cloth. Wring cloth several times with warm water before using.

I know it seems strange that you are told to wet a cloth that you will be dusting furniture with but the next step with explain why it is OK to wet the cloth.

2. Wring it out.

Use slightly damp. It is OK to use this damp rag on your furniture. It will seem "dry" (as if it was never rinsed with water) when you wring it out.

3. Clean everything (even mirrors) and dust.

Now you come to the magical part. Watch dust and grime disappear. The most surprising thing to me was the dust and goop that I removed when I dusted my lampshades.

While you are in the process of cleaning, every few minutes rinse out your cloth. You will then see for yourself all the grime and dust that other cloths cannot get.

4. Wash your cloths and use them over and over again.

You may wash them with bleach or detergent. Air dry only. Do not use fabric softener.

The directions on these cloths say that the cloths will not scratch any surface. So far, that has been true for me. The directions also say that if you get any streaks when you first use your cloth, it is only a residue from the manufacturing of the cloth.

You can use these cloths on windshield, cars, chrome, glass, vinyl, computer screens, mirrors, glasses, fiberglass, stainless steel and well, just about anything.

There is only one problem with these "magical cloths." You can't stop cleaning, once you start because everything is so clean and shiny. (Betty told me that from the beginning.)
