If you are a teen-ager right now, you may be at your wits end. You may have gone further (sexually) than you intended to on that date. Now you are riddled with panic, guilt and worry. You want to know the signs of pregnancy, but you are also afraid to find out.

Maybe you have been misinformed about how you can get pregnant. Lets discuss some of the ways to get pregnant, which you may not have realized. Here are a few:

You can get pregnant during your period, as well as before or after.

You do not have to have sexual intercourse to get pregnant. Anytime semen comes in contact with your vagina, it is possible

There is always a chance you can get pregnant while taking birth control pills.

Pregnancy can occur if you are using an IUD. If it does not fit properly, an embryo can attach.

Using the withdrawal method does not prevent pregnancy

You can get pregnant without having an orgasm.

If you find out you are definitely pregnant and feel that you cannot talk to your parents, it is really important that you talk to someone. If that seems impossible to do, there are numbers to call and people that will help you. At the end of this article, I will give you some ideas.

Here are some common signs of pregnancy that can show up just a few days after you have conceived:

1. Frequent Urination

Making a lot of trips to the bathroom? This could be a sure sign.

2. Sore breasts

You can usually have this symptom in just a few days after you become pregnant.

3. Feeling nauseated

Even if you don't actually vomit, you can feel really nauseated. Nibbling on crackers has always helped me with this.

4. Feeling sick when just smelling certain types of food or drinks (coffee is common)

Just the aroma of certain foods may make you feel ill. Your stomach is not emptying as fast, due to hormonal changes, thus making you feel sick.

5. Constipation

All of a sudden you may have a problem with constipation. Of course this symptom may or may not mean you are pregnant, since many people have this problem on and off.

6. Fatigue

Feeling tired is so common because your body is going through many changes. Listen to your body and begin getting extra rest.

7. Mood Swings

It is the hormonal changes that make these mood swings. Just realizing that's why you are grumpy will help so much.

Even if you do not have any of these symptoms, you could be pregnant. You can find out my taking a home pregnancy test or seeing a physician. A doctor can tell by changes in the size and shape of the uterus and cervix.

Please don't think you are alone if/when you find out you are pregnant. If you are experiencing any of these pregnancy signs that I have mentioned, you can get free, confidential help by calling 1-800-395-HELP
