Do you feel confused and as if you are going around in circles? Are you always forgetting something and having to backtrack? Most of all, do you feel you never have enough time to do what you need to do? If even one of these questions that you ask yourself is true, I have some helpful tips for you. .

1. After you use an object, put it back where you found it.
This old adage is true: A Place for everything; everything in it’s place. This alone will save you so much confusion and time. As a bonus, you will know exactly where to find an object and your home will always appear neat.

2. Make Lists
This is a really important tip that will give you such peace of mind. When you are feeling overwhelmed, once you make a list, you will already feel 50% better, at least. The other 50% will come as you mark off your list what you have done. It relieves you from feeling confused and overwhelmed

3. If something needs mending or repairing, do it as soon as possible
Don’t let your “to do” list pile up. Stop what you are doing and fix it. If you can’t fix it at that moment, leave it in a conspicuous place so you will be reminded to take care of the problem as soon as possible.

4. Put an object in your car if it needs to be returned or delivered to a specific place
How many times have you realized if you have the library book in the car or the coat that goes to the cleaners, you could have saved yourself time and also money? This is a great habit to form.

5. Spend some time organizing and clearing out closets, files and cupboards
Yes, this takes some time to do these jobs, but in the long run, this will save you time. You will feel so much better. You will be able to find your favorite dress or the scissors. You will also realize you have too much “stuff.” The bonus for this is that you can give things away to charity.

I n closing, I would like to leave you with 2 thoughtful quotes: Organizing is what you do before you do something, so that when you do it, it’s not all mixed up. (A.A. Milne, English author and creator of Winnie-the-Pooh) The ability to simplify means to eliminate the unnecessary so that the necessary may speak. (20th century abstract expressionist painter Hans Hoffman)
