The Biggest Loser began with the contestants all getting a makeover as a preparation for speeches they would make. Everyone expressed his or her view on giving a speech.
Danny said, "I'm nervous. (In regard to making a speech). I want it to be so inspirational that it changes people's lives."
Liz: "Speeches open up your soul. I want to tell every, wife, mother, grandmother, that you deserve to be healthy. Time is slipping away."
Rebecca said, "I need serious help (in regard to a makeover)."
Hairstylist Tabatha Coffey: "Having a makeover is very emotional for all of them."
Jillian and Bob hear for the first time about Rudy's childhood. (When he was a boy, his sister died. His parents did not have much time for him during this time.) Jillian called this "abandonment." She helps Rudy understand that this is the reason his weight was out of control. All these years, he had not worked out this issue, so that is why he was an unhealthy weight.
Here is the weigh-in stats:
Danny lost 12 pounds, the percentage of weight loss 4.94
Rudy lost 16 pounds, the percentage of weight loss 4.9
Alan lost 5 pounds, the percentage of weight loss 2.06
Rebecca lost 3 pounds, the percentage of weight loss 1.44
Liz lost 3 pounds, the percentage of weight loss 1.46.
Rebecca and Liz fell below the yellow line because their percentages were the least in losing weight.
Rebecca takes Alan and Rudy in another room to talk with them in private. She tells them that Liz has been under the yellow line 3 times and that she has already got her 2 nd and 3 rd chance. "Now, I'd like my 2 nd chanceplease, Rudy and Alan."
Liz decides that she better fight if she wants to stay on the ranch, so she also pulled Randy and Alan aside.
"I want to be here; I need to be here; I deserve to be here. I am 49 years old. I don't have as many years left. She's (Rebecca) got a lot of years left."
Then it was time to vote. Amanda voted for Liz; Danny voted for Rebecca; Rudy voted for Rebecca. Therefore, Rebecca had to leave. Rudy said the reason he voted for her was because she played both sides of the fence and couldn't be trusted.
This caused Rebecca to have a major meltdown. She said she could be trusted and what hurt her most was the fact that she thought of Rudy as one of her closest friends.
Rudy said he was sorry but he just felt she couldn't be trusted.
Seeing Rebecca at home was great. She had a pretty face, even when she was overweight. She looked fabulous. She had gone from 279 pounds to 206 when she was on the ranch. Since she has been home, she has lost even more.
The show ends when you see her running a 16-mile marathon. She was crying because she was so overwhelmed with emotion. She had never run that far before.
"I just became the girl I wanted to be. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you Biggest Loser. You changed my life forever."
